Classes
Classes are a great way to learn how to scrapbook, learn a new
techniques and/or how to use new products.
Students (except beginner classes) MUST bring
their own basic tools to class, including a 12" trimmer, a pair
of small scissors, scorer, adhesives, glue dots, pens, pencils, exacto knife
with cutting mat and if
available, chalks.
Check back
around
the 15th of every month to see the new class listing
for the following month.
On the day of your class, you will receive
10% off your purchases (except for future classes, crops and/or
gift certificates). All classes must be paid for at time
of registration. Most
classes can be purchased as "kits to go" if you are unable to
make the class.

Colors of Copic - Pink

Join us as we continue our adventures through the wonderful
Colors of Copics. This month we will experiment with Shades
of Pink. We will discuss some useful tips and tricks while we
practice several advanced techniques that will help you
understand why Copic markers are the "must have" tools for
blending and shading images. We will revisit the "nasty rag"
technique, pushing designs and custom backgrounds as well as
continue to coordinate custom embellishments. You'll love the
"stained glass" technique too! Three shades of Pink markers are included in the class fee. You will
leave this class with three markers to add to your collection
and completed images to reference. No projects will
be completed in this class. Please bring a
Colorless Blender, atyou Spica black glitter pen, your "nasty
rag" and your
shadowing guide from last class, if you have them. Note: If you have
RV14, RV19 and/or
RV23 of your own, please bring them to use in class. You will be
permitted to swap the unused markers from your class kit for
other colors. No kits are available for this class as
it is a technique class.

A Year of Copics Mini Book - Advanced Technique

Experienced Copic users, maximize your Copics potential! Join us
as we expand our Colors of Copics skills. Today we'll experiment
with various stamping and masking techniques to create fabulous
airbrushed backgrounds and add color to stamped images. We'll
combine 50+ brilliant colors and 35+ images to highlight 12
prime occasions throughout a year. We'll practice heat embossing
and coloring of layered images. We'll alter some embellishments
and die cuts too! When you leave this class you'll have a 14
page mini book full of inspiring airbrushing and stamping ideas
to reference for use on upcoming projects. Manila pages, created
by the QuicKutz Santa's Workshop Peppermint mini album set, are
held together using silver binding rings. Please bring
your airbrush system and make sure you have detail scissors,
pop-dots, exacto knife and cutting mat, pencil/eraser, and
permanent adhesive in addition to you normal supplies. A set of
small magnets are especially helpful too. No kits are available for this class as
it is a technique class.

Family Matter Tear Critters Layout

Create
these 4 pages using the new Moxxie line and their adorable
critters. So many options with this line, you can use these
layouts for family fun, snack time, snuggling up, outdoor photos
or new baby. This is a great class if you were interested in
learning the technique for making tear bears and a little bird.
Please bring an embossing tool, water brush, glue stick,
glue dots, gray cat's eye chalk, diamond stickles, exacto knife
and cutting mat in
addition to your normal supplies.

into one beautiful mosaic page. Sue will teach you this amazing
technique
that you then can use for many other layouts to come.
Please bring a minimum of 8 to 10 photos with the same
background such as sky, water, garden, etc. and a sharp pencil
with eraser in
addition to your normal supplies as you must have your own paper
trimmer for this class.

Epcot Memories Layout 
This 2 page layout features the beautiful sphere in iris
folding. The theme is black, white, silver, with a splash of
red. You will be stenciling your background
card stock
to coordinate with the patterned paper, adding ribbon,
dew drops and more to give a sparkle and flair to your
layout. Please include in your normal
supplies an xacto

Perfect Pearls Technique Class 
In this class we will be experimenting with different mediums
and the many ways of using perfect pearls (dry, wet, lifting,
painting). Each technique gives an unique look to patterned
paper, card stock, ribbon, chipboard, wood chips, etc. Included
in the class is a Ranger mini mister and a jar of Perfect
Pearls. As this is a technique class, we are not making
scrapbook pages or cards. However, you will be going home
with completed projects and embellishments to add to cards and
scrapbooking pages. Sorry, no kits available.

Monthly Layout Class
Come the 3rd Thursday of every month and learn a new technique
or learn how to use a new tool. Each month will feature a
different product or technique that Peggy will show you. You
will receive the kit for you to do on your own, come back the
following month with the completed two page layout and receive
a chance to win a door prize (must
bring completed two page layout using prior month's "tool" to be
eligible for the door prize). Each month's featured products
will be available for you at a 20% discounted the night of the
class.

Origins Tabbed Mini Album

Join Sue in making this mini album using brand-new papers and
embellishments from the Origins collection by Basic Grey. Learn
how to use Basic Greys newest embellishments including Pieces
and Clips. This album can be used for just about any theme from
"a day on the life", to "a special trip", or so much more! This
will be a fun packed album complete with pockets, tags, and
plenty of room for journaling. We may not complete the entire
album during this class, but you will leave with complete
colored instructions for any pages not finished.
Please bring seven (7) 4"x6" vertical
pictures - more can be added later but you need 7 for the day of
the class; a hole punch (such as the crop-a-dile); a file set or
sanding block; cat's eye chalk ink (I used chestnut roan); tiny
attacher (if you have one, otherwise we can share); and foam
tape (optional).

Odor-able Tear Skunk Layout

Come and

collection. You will learn how to tear these critters using
mulberry paper, paper doillies,
Martha Stewart punches and stickles. These pages can be

one of the elements and drawing it onto our page. We will color
it in any way YOU want. Then we will journal on top of our

Love Life Album

Join us for this interactive class where we will be making a
book using acrylic, chipboard, material, and even making our own
page from newspaper. We will be using various papers from
Delish, Reminisce, Nikki Sivils, Glazed Bazzill papers along
with new Hero Arts stamps, Prima flowers, lots of ribbons (think
polka dots) and of course some vintage items thrown in. Everyone
will have a different book as we are taking apart a book to make
it our own. This book can be for Valentine's, for someone you
like, for your favorite things, or just for your love of life.
Come to class and enjoy making a book to call your own, for
someone you love or just love for yourself!
In addition to you regular supplies,
please bring a glass cutting mat, sharp cutting razor, sander
and glue stick.

I Love to Dance Layout

This is a cute layout for the dancer in your family. You will
learn to look at paper and create 3D items out of it by simply
pop dotting some of you items on your layout that you cut out of
your paper. We will be adding some nice dance punch items to

Butterflies Are Free Layout

This is a pretty layout you can add any occasion photos to. You
will learn to look at paper differently after taking this class.
You are going to be cutting out lots of flowers to make this
layout look 3D. We will be adding some great punch items to this
layout.

We offer a few different types of kids parties (birthday, girl
scout, etc.) so be sure to stop by and ask for more details.
Terms and Conditions: Payment is required at the time of sign
up which must be made in advance. You may register in person,
by phone, or by mail. If you cannot attend your scheduled
class, you must notify us no later than 2 days (or 48
hours) before the
class to receive a credit. If you cancel after that and a
replacement is not found, you will forfeit your fee. We
reserve the right to cancel a class that does not meet minimum
enrollment requirements or due to weather conditions. In the
event of a cancellation, we will gladly reschedule you for
another class or refund your fee. No children at adult classes
please.
